What are the differences between these financial aids? Many people confuse especially on grant, fellowship and scholarship. Let’s take a brief look on these financial aids. Grant, Fellowship & Scholarship A grant is a gifted financial aid for a student that does not have to be paid back. Fellowship is a fund awarded to a graduate student in a college or university. And scholarship is a financial aid usually awarded based on merit or academic achievement. Both fellowship and scholarship are grant. Practically, these terms very little in different and in fact, these terms are used interchangeably in representing fund gifted to students to support their college or university study.
This program provides jobs that enable students to earn a portion of school costs through employment at the institution. Many colleges and universities offer job to students where they can earn their school fee and part of their living expenses.
A study loan is a financial aid offers to students and these money need to be repaid after the completion of the study program.

But fortunately for students and parents who are, or have their children in college or online schools, there are a multitude of financial aid opportunities available. One of the best ways to help one pay for college is to get a scholarship or grant. Scholarships are not only available for A-students and low income students. In this day and age almost everyone is eligible for some type of money grant.
When it comes to scholarships, most scholarships are given out at the time of high school graduation. A high school student looking to get any particular scholarship should start applying for them in their junior year. This is necessary because some colleges require the scholarship to be submitted one year prior to your first semester. Other factors of time fall into the process of getting a scholarship such as, the length of application forms, contact information being collected, essay writing, and even scheduling interviews. So getting on top of this right away is what you have to do.
So when looking for a scholarship there are a few specific places to look. First you want to start in your local community. Such as your local church, library, guidance counselors office, or even any local corporation that may offer one. Approach anyone with office or organization’s lanyards around their neck, they might able to help you.
